Hi, it’s Emily. Born in Ottawa, raised in Barrie, now I’m here! The big glorious city, Toronto! What a dream! Especially working in the makeup industry since the age 16, it’s so inspiring to expand my practice, ideas and future career along with other people who are pursuing their dreams in the city too! First year here so far and I’m pleased to say I am a graduate of CMU College in Toronto! I dream to work on movie sets in the near future and join the union for the movie industry of makeup design. I enjoy applying beautiful natural glowing makeup on my models, but I will play with glitter and colour at any given moment to create a bold statement look. Another thing that sparks and ignites my passion is SFX! Who could’ve known it would be so thrilling to create the most disturbing gash, cut or fictional zombie bite on my clients. I take much inspiration for these gruesome or alien-like looks from my favorite television productions such as the Last Of Us or Star Wars. NERD ALERT! I hope to see my name in the credits one day and be part of this type of magic behind creating the awesome character makeups we see on screen everyday!
